Reports out of Memphis, Tennessee, last night from Commercial Appeal’s Ron Tillery stats that “Teams are gauging interest in Tony Allen and Griz are listening.” This isn’t the first-time Memphis has listened to offers around the Grindfather. Joerger Returns To The 901, But Who Cares?

Tomorrow night will mark the first time in nine plus years that Dave Joerger will arrive at the FedExForum as a visiting coach. He spent his first six years in Memphis (2007-2013) as an assistant then took over the head coaching duties for Lionel Hollins in 2013. He later got fired from the Grizzlies in 2016 after the playoffs series vs. San Antonio. We all remember this when Joerger decided to breakdown into tears to defend Vince Carter and Matt Barnes for just playing playoff basketball.
