I just got a box of Tiger gear from my guy Mark King from Fan Essentials the other day and today I am going to do a quick review on what was inside. For those of you that don’t know, Fan Essentials is a company that sends out monthly boxes of team merchandise to their subscribers. They have been in business since February of 2015 and what started initially as a Memphis Grizzlies service has now branched into all teams from the MLB, NFL, NBA and NHL. They just recently included college sports and I was one of the first to get one of their boxes for the University of Memphis – just in time for football season.
When I first opened the box the first thing that caught my attention was the fact that all of the product was actual licensed NCAA Tiger gear. There was a large plush football with a stitched pouncing Tiger logo that was nearly the size of a real football. The logo was fully sewn in and no a patch glued on or anything like that. Great item in my opinion for kids, (my two year old has already confiscated mine) or adults.
Also included in the box was a Memphis Tiger tee shirt with a large growling Tiger across the front. There were no indicators for basketball or football, which is good because it can be worn to any Tiger event. Shirt fit well and was comfortable and has quality screen-printing.
The final two items in the kit were a Tiger logo decal that will quickly be placed on my car as well as a very nice pair of sport utility gloves that will be ideal for cold Tiger football games. In all I was impressed by the product and would suggest it for any fan that wants a constant and new assortment of fan gear on a regular basis. The service is $34.99 per month and includes shipping. You can prepay for three, six or 12 months as well. For more information visit fansessentials.net and follow them on twitter at @FanEssentials
