Titans Take Five To Orlando, Possibly Three More as Alternates, And Sundays Big Win

Four degrees, that was the story at kickoff. Tennessee Titans Quarterback, Marcus Mariota's, first “cold game,” seemed to have an impact on his game, but after a few drives, he, along with the team, adjusted well and continued their journey towards the playoffs.

Following two big turnovers, the Titans rushing attack, along with its iron curtain, kept the Kansas City Chiefs at bay after a quick 14-0 start. Rookie Running Back, Derrick Henry, has been outstanding following up Demarco Murray, and he didn't stop Sunday. Henry had his second multi touchdown game of his career. Former Kansas City Chiefs kicker Ryan Succop, drilled to field goals, but had never hit a game winner as a Titan. That all changed Sunday as Succop forgot all of his fundementals to drive a 54 yard field goal as time expired through the hearts of Chiefs fans around the nation.

Following an emotional game in Kansas City, Titans fans caught the end of the Jacksonville Jaguars, and the Houston Texans game. The Texans pulled it out by a point, but the Jaguars decided to part ways with Gus Bradley. The Titans face the Jaguars this Saturday in Jacksonville. Also, the Titans are still in a tie for first with the Texans in the AFC South.

Lastly, Brian Orakpo, Jurell Casey, Taylor Lewan, Demarco Murray, and Delanie Walker all will represent the two tone blue in Orlando for the NFL Pro Bowl. It is truly amazing looking back at last season how far this team has come. From the beginning, Delanie Walker and Jurell Casey into the Pro Bowl last season, to now having a total of five Pro Bowlers and three alternates. Those three alternates, Marcus Mariota, Jalston Fowler, and Jack Conklin. Eight, a number that many wouldn't have predicted in wins, the Titans could be sending to Orlando.

The Titans (8-6) will take on the Jaguars (2-13) in Jacksonville on Christmas Eve. The Titans will be keeping a close eye on the Cincinnati Bengals, as they take on the Houston Texans. A Texans loss till puts all of the Titans playoff hopes on the week 17 matchup in Nashville on new years day.
