Frank Wycheck: The Battle Off the Field

January 8th, 2000 former Tennessee Titans Tight End Frank Wycheck gave the state of Tennessee hope in a young NFL team. With a simple lateral pass to his left to former Titans wide receiver Kevin Dyson the Titans won the AFC divisional round matchup against the Buffalo Bills. That was then, this is now.

A little over 17 years later, Wycheck is dealing with something not many of us understand. It's battle internally between the mind and the body. All of those hits early in life, even leading up to the end of his career make the former tight end believe that he has CTE.

Marcus Mariota Continues To Grow, Even Through Injury

How many players have a season ending surgery on Wednesday, and travel back to the team facilities on Thursday to support their team, Marcus Mariota is that guy.

Mariota showing up to Titans practice on Thursday to help prepare for the game on Sunday is better than any Instagram, Twitter, or Facebook post to me. I say this due to the fact that fans are frustrated with how “quiet” Mariota is.

Titans Take Five To Orlando, Possibly Three More as Alternates, And Sundays Big Win

Four degrees, that was the story at kickoff. Tennessee Titans Quarterback, Marcus Mariota's, first “cold game,” seemed to have an impact on his game, but after a few drives, he, along with the team, adjusted well and continued their journey towards the playoffs.

Following two big turnovers, the Titans rushing attack, along with its iron curtain, kept the Kansas City Chiefs at bay after a quick 14-0 start. Rookie Running Back, Derrick Henry, has been outstanding following up Demarco Murray, and he didn't stop Sunday. Henry had his second multi touchdown game of his career. Former Kansas City Chiefs kicker Ryan Succop, drilled to field goals, but had never hit a game winner as a Titan. That all changed Sunday as Succop forgot all of his fundementals to drive a 54 yard field goal as time expired through the hearts of Chiefs fans around the nation.
